My Favorite Denim

My love for jeans runs deep!! You can find me wearing jeans most days, from cozying up inside with a sweatshirt, or at the park with a t-shirt, or dressed up for date night. Regardless the occasion, I am in jeans the majority of the time. 

Most women understand the struggle of finding good jeans that FIT, are COMFORTABLE, and STYLISH. Over the years, stores have stepped up their denim game and now there are MANY places you can buy good jeans. 

But being confident in your style is what is most important. And when you are short [like me], the struggle is real! It can be even harder to find jeans that are comfortable, cute, and actually fit. I often find myself rolling up the bottom several times, which I like sometimes, but not all the time. Not all stores have a Petite or Tall department, but they should! Not just for jeans but dresses too. Those adorable dresses that are made to be mid-calf length are normally to my ankle!! 

Regardless of where you shop for jeans, love what you wear. Be comfortable. And look in the mirror and say, “Dang, I look good!!”

For length reference, I am exactly 5’0”.

PAIR #ONE:

High Rise Skinny // LOFT // I love jeans that have the exposed button fly! These are especially cute with a tucked in shirt or sweater. These are dark/medium dark and are stretchy, so they are super comfortable, and breathable! These are labeled as High Rise; however, they are not quite as high as other brands (like Abercrombie). These are true to size and I am wearing the Petite size.

PAIR #TWO: 

High Rise Super Skinny Ankle // Abercrombie & Fitch // Again, I love that these have the exposed button fly – except these have 5 buttons instead of 4, and these are true high rise. I love the chewed/raw hem and the distressed knees. These are stretchy enough to give you some wiggle room but not too stretchy that they will fall down. Also, these hug the booty and give it a little lift!! These are true to size and I am wearing them in the Short length.  

PAIR #THREE:

High Destructed Rise Cheeky Straight // GAP // I love these jeans because they are different! They have the distressed look that I like but they are girlfriend fit – I love wearing these cuffed. These too are considered High Rise, but they hit a littler lower than other High Rise jeans. These are true to size and I’m wearing them in the Regular size.

PAIR #FOUR:

High Waist Chewed Hem Jeans // LOFT // I love that these are High Rise jeans, simple and have a chewed/raw hem. They are not skin tight, which makes them comfortable, yet they are still flattering. They are true to size and I’m wearing the Petite size.
